PRIDE OF INDIA:

​Also known as 'Lagerstroemia speciosa' and 'Queen's Flower', it is the state flower of Maharashtra. The purple and pinkish-violet flowers bloom during April-May & July-August long panicles at the end of all branches.

GOLDEN SHOWER:

Also known as 'Cassia fistula', this fast-growing flowering tree popular ornamental plant and is also used in herbal medicine. It is the state flower of Kerala and an inevitable part of Vishu celebrations.

GULMOHAR:

Otherwise called 'Delonix regia', these trees are flamboyant and bright as they get! The reddish-orange flowers -- potent to hook even the hardest of hearts -- rightly justify the tree's other names such as the 'Phoenix Flower' and 'Flame of the forest.

INDIAN CORAL TREE:

This ornamental plant's bright crimson flowers bloom in dense terminal clusters. Often called the 'Tiger's clove, Erythrina variegata trees go leafless in winter and bloom from January till April.

​Often maintained as orchid trees, this fast-growing tree needs no time to touch the 12-ft mark! The Bauhinia fragrance could spread merry vibes around your house as they flower profusely in rosy and dark pink, purple and lilac shades.
