Australia defeated India by 209 runs to lift the WTC mace. A lot of people have blamed the IPL for India's poor show in the Test Match. Here are some players who were hits in IPL 2023, but flopped in the WTC Final.

Virat Kohli came into his own in IPL 2023, as he smashed 639 runs, finishing 4th in the Orange Cap leaderboard. He also managed to score2 hundreds in this edition for RCB.
