"People in our country love to blame women," star batter Virat Kohli had once said while reacting to the unnecessary hate his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, faces every time team India loses a match. The negative comments once again flooded Twitter after India's heartbreaking loss in the World Test Championship final against Australia on Sunday.

The Zero actress looked visibly upset after Virat's dismissal on 49 runs and the pictures left fans heartbroken. However, after India lost to Australia by 209 runs, trolls targeted Anushka again. They left not-so-nice comments on social media and once again labelled her a 'panuati.' Some even went ahead and demanded a ban on her from entering stadiums.
A tweet read, "Its History India win % is 0 when Anushka Sharma present in the stadium in ICC tournaments."
"Dear @AnushkaSharma, as a true fan of Virat, I've noticed a pattern whenevr Anushka is present at the stadium during matches. It seems like neither Virat achieves his goals nor does Team India or any player. I kindly request you to consider not attending matches. Hoping for best," wrote a Twitter user.

Many defended the actress and hit back at trolls for their nasty remarks. A fan wrote, "Dear Anushka Sharma, As a cricket fan, I am so sorry for what you have to go through every time India loses and you happen to be in the stadium, all i see in you is passion and absolute support for India and your partner. Please stay the same, always."
"How conveniently people bring Anushka Sharma out of nowhere to blame her. She was neither present in WT20 nor in Asia Cup 2022, can feel for these guys not being able to blame her for those defeats," tweeted another.
