Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, MoHFW has issued a notice for nursing students. Union Health Ministry issued a fake news alert on its Twitter handle about the social media notice by Indian Nursing Council which talks about considering B.Sc nursing candidate as nursing officers and MBBS doctors. Ministry has clarified that the notice is FAKE.

The fake notice mentioned that the nursing students will be considered as junior doctors in the future, it says. Notice dated June 5 even bears the signature of Dr Sarvjeet Kaur. On June 8, Health Ministry took to Twitter to share that the notice is fake. The Tweet attaching the fake notice reads, “#FakeNews This document is seen to be circulating on some social media platforms. This is a FAKE document. Please do not share it further.”
To sum up, ‘Nurses to be known as nursing officers, BSc nursing equivalent to MBBS and they will be considered as junior doctors, according to the Indian Nursing Council’ is FAKE. Therefore students are advised not to fall for such fake notices and to only focus on official websites and Twitter handles for accurate updates.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS will not be conducting the National Exit Test, NExT exam. It has been clarified by an NMC official. A fake notification was doing rounds on social media claiming that the examination authority will conduct the NExT exam in the second half of this year.
