Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal, who debuted as bounty-hunter-turned-father Din Djarin in 2019 with the Star Wars series' first season has now claimed that Marvel's latest outing Moon Knight that is streaming on Dinsey Plus Hotstar will not be able to beat The Mandalorian in a fight.
The original idea of a showdown between Moon Knight and Din was brought up by the Marvel series actor Oscar Isaac, who portrays Khonshu's avatar on Disney Plus Hotstar. Both actors are longtime friends and have been part of the Star Wars universe, though in different timelines. Isaac's Poe Dameron and Pascal's Din have never had a chance to meet. Isaac was the first of the two to appear in Star Wars and is now doing the same with Marvel's Moon Knight.
During an interview, Pascal was asked whether Moon Knight or Pascal's Mandalorian would win in a fight, and he responded without hesitation that his hero would come out on top. He insisted that it didn't matter "if Pedro would agree," because "that's just a fact."
Now in an interview with Remezela, Pascal has contradicted Isaac's claim by saying, "That's so sweet," following a condescending laugh.
The actor wasn't convinced that Isaac's Moon Knight could match up with the Mandalorian physically. However, he did add that Isaac's hero may be able to beat him at a game of Scrabble.
Interestingly, in all possibility, the supernatural strength of the Moon Knight, thanks to the abilities given to him by Egyptian Moon god Khonshu would be useful against Din. However, the mandalorian's beskar would likely keep him safe from all attacks.
It is being reported that Pascal's upcoming adventure as Din with Grogu (Baby Yoda) on his side is slated for release later this year. Moon Knight, meanwhile, is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar and awaiting Episode 3.
