Everything You Should Know About The Bajaj-Triumph Motorcycle Duo Set For Launch On July 5

Bajaj-Triumph has officially confirmed the launch date of the two motorcycles that they have been working together for quite some time now. Of both the motorcycles, one will come with a roadster-style body, while the other one will have a scrambler-styled body, the official badge names of both these bikes will be revealed at the time of the launch.
Built in collaboration with Baja, the new entry-level Triumph motorcycles will in most probably be based on a completely new platform. They are expected to be powered by an engine with a displacement of around or just under 400cc.
As for the teaser image that Triumph has shared to announce the launch date of both motorcycles, it seems like the roadster bike has been used. Triumph’s iconic Bonneville range of roadster motorcycles is already on sale in the country. This new bike will in most probability slot in as the entry-level ‘Bonny’.

And given its predicted engine capacity, the upcoming new bike will compete against the likes of the Classic 350, Jawa 42, and the Honda H’Ness 350 as well. Some of the other details that have cropped up from the spy images that were shared before are:

Suspension

From the spy images that were shared earlier, the Bajaj-Triumph motorcycles will equip upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension for the rear.

Brakes

Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes on both tires fitted to 19-inch tires at the front, and 17-inch tires at the rear available with the scrambler.

Instrument Cluster

Both the Bajaj-Triumph motorcycles are expected to feature a semi-digital instrument cluster. The likes of which have also been spied and you can check in the image below.

Price

Given that both the motorcycles will be entry-level motorcycles for the brand Triumph, expect the upcoming roadster and scrambler to be priced somewhere between Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.
