However, the PIB's fact-check unit found this claim to be FAKE. The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) on Thursday, April 19, issued a statement refuting the claims. "Important announcement from #IndianOil. It is perfectly safe to fill fuel in vehicles up to the limit(max) as specified by the manufacturer irrespective of winter or summer," IOCL's tweet read. The company made the same announcement in a Facebook post on the same day.
