From Jey Uso To Cody Rhodes: WWE Releases Names Of First Five Superstars Who Pinned Roman Reigns

WWE has released the names of the first five superstars who successfully pinned Roman Reigns after his main roster debut. Roman debuted as a part of The Shield and was picked to be the face of the company once the team broke up. He remains to be the face of WWE.

Roman Reigns is a powerhouse in WWE and he has been one of the most dominant superstars in the company right since his debut. Roman made his main roster debut as a part of The Shield and was a breakout superstar after the team split. Even when Roman was part of The Shield, WWE had inked on him as the future of the company and he hardly got pinned.
WWE has released a video of the first five superstars who successfully pinned Roman Reigns and the stats show that he only got pinned five times en route to his first main event of Wrestlemania - in 2015. Reigns made his main roster debut in November 2012.
Surprisingly, Jey Uso was the first superstar to pin Roman in September 2013. It was during a tag team match when Jey pinned his on-screen cousin, leaving the commentators surprised. 7 years later, Jey and Roman were involved in an iconic storyline for the Universal Championship. The Tribal Chief would form a Bloodline after Jey fell in line.
Cody Rhodes was the second superstar to pin Roman, in October 2013. But it wasn't a clean win and Big Show had a big role to play. 9 years later, Cody was highly expected to pin Roman in the main event of Wrestlemania 39 but he fell short. Roman next got pinned by Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules 2014.
2 months before his first Wrestlemania main event, Roman got pinned by Big Show on an episode of Raw. It wasn't a clean win and Seth Rollins played his part in Big Show's win.
A month later, Rollins would pin Roman on Raw. Once again, it wasn't a clean win and other superstars played their part in Roman getting pinned. Pinning Roman has now become a dream for WWE superstars and he hasn't been pinned since 2019.
The Head of the Table mostly wins his matches. Even if he loses, the defeats come via disqualification or his partner getting pinned (in tag team matches).
