Honda's New 'Extended Warranty Plus' program Will Ensure 'Peace Of Mind' For 10 Years: Find Out How
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have introduced a unique extended warranty program that will also offer its customers several renewal options and it can also be transferred in case of a change of ownership. Owners of Honda motorcycles with up to 250cc engines are available for this new coverage program that can be bought from across all authorized Honda service centers.

Honda's New 'Extended Warranty Plus' program Will Ensure 'Peace Of Mind' For 10 Years: Find Out How
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has introduced a unique 10 years warranty program called ‘Extended Warranty Plus’ that is available across the brand’s motorcycles and scooters up to the 250cc segment. This means the Honda H’nesss CB350 and the CB350RS miss out on this program, plus the premium models.
Moreover, this unique program is also transferable in case of a change in ownership during the 10-year period of the warranty’s validity. For Honda models and scooters in the 150cc segment, the “Extended Warranty Plus” program costs Rs 1,317 and for models in between the 150cc and 250cc segment the program costs Rs 1,667.
The EW program is applicable to both existing and new Honda customers. So, if you own a 150cc or 250cc Honda motorcycle aged 7 years/8years/9 years then customers can avail warranty for additional 3years/2years/1year period. The warranty program can be bought from the vehicles 91 days to the 9th year from the date of vehicle purchase.
“Our 'Extended Warranty Plus' program is designed to elevate the ownership experience to new heights. It is the industry's first program to offer extended warranty coverage of up to 10 years, inclusive of high-value parts,” said Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
With the above options combined, Honda is offering coverage value for up to 120,000 km for all scooter models and up to 130,000 km for all motorcycle models (within the stipulated displacement segment obviously), Honda claims. This is an interesting offer, for it also displays the extent a major manufacturer, who has a sizeable share in the Indian market through its Activas, is going to assure ease of ownership. Especially in these times of the impeding EV onslaught.
