Kawasaki recently launched the 2024 edition of the Ninja ZX-10RR in the United States. The latest iteration of this iconic liter-class supersport motorcycle showcases an updated sporty and aggressive design, that will not feel out of place on a track.
One of the key updates in the 2024 Ninja ZX-10RR is the introduction of a new variable air intake system (VAI). This system incorporates movable intake funnels that adjust based on RPM, allowing increased airflow at higher RPMs for maximum performance. The VAI setup is exclusively available for the 10RR in its race configuration, requiring a racing ECU and a sub-controller.

Under the hood, the Ninja ZX-10RR is powered by a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive output of 211bhp and 111.8Nm of torque. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear shifts. The motorcycle offers various rider aids, including four ride modes (sport, rain, road, and rider), cruise control, ABS, launch control, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), engine brake control, traction control, and power modes.
The 2024 Ninja ZX-10RR boasts advanced technology and connectivity through its TFT screen, which displays essential information such as the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and fuel level. Additionally, it offers smartphone connectivity for added convenience.
For superior handling, the ZX-10RR features 43mm USD balance-free front forks and a linked rear shock, both fully adjustable. The braking system consists of dual 330mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc, providing exceptional stopping power. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires.
In terms of pricing, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is available in the United States at a price of USD 30,499 (approximately Rs. 25 lakh, excluding taxes). If it enters the Indian market, it is expected to face competition from rivals such as the Ducati Panigale V4 and BMW S1000RR.
