UP Education Dept Officer Suspended For Attending Meeting in Vest

New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, an Uttar Pradesh education department officer was suspended for attending a meeting in inappropriate attire. If reports are to be believed, the officer attended the review meeting yesterday in a vest, without a shirt.
Indi Today reported that the Director General of Education, Vijay Kiran Anand, took the disciplinary action and suspended the officer over his inappropriate attire during the video conference. The officers were s discussing the progress of departmental projects with officers posted in different districts.
It has been said that the education officer's attire during the virtual meeting caused significant discomfort among the attendees. However, it is yet to be ascertained which district the officer was from. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
