A Ryanair passenger left netizens divided after she came up with an ingenious idea to avoid buying inflight beverages.
Racheal flew out to Europe on a budget airline. She didn't want to pay for a bottle of water and came up with a "money-saving trick".
"I was thirsty but I didn't want to pay €3 (Rs 266) for water," Racheal said in a video.
Instead of asking for a bottle of water, she asked for a cup of ice and then waited for the ice cubes to melt before drinking it.
She added, "No because why does water have to be so expensive?"
Racheal's hack left netizens divided.
One user said, "Maybe don't take a flight if you can't afford €3 for water." Another wrote, "If you can't afford to pay €3 water, stay at home and save enough to afford everything."
Racheal said that she was carrying an empty water bottle with her to refill in the airport but she couldn't find any water station after passing the security check.
One user said, "€3 for water is crazy." Another wrote, "A win is a win, I don't care."
Yet another suggested, "Next time, tell them you are feeling sick. They will give you a bottle of water. Whenever I get plane sick, I ask and I always get one."
