In this episode of The Blueprint Explosive Exclusive, host Meghna Deka will discuss how during the next academic year, a chapter about RSS co-founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar that was added to the state curriculum during the previous revision will be removed. This choice was made by CM Siddaramaiah and Minister of School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa during a meeting on educational reforms held here on Tuesday. In addition to updating school textbooks and adopting the National Education Policy (NEP), Siddaramaiah and Madhu promised that actions will be taken to reverse the modifications made by the previous BJP administration. After the meeting, Siddaramaiah gave the staff the order to set up a committee to review and analyse the chapters that the BJP government had put in the textbooks. We are joined by a few panelists expressing their views on the issue. “The teaching of history has always been political. Be it any party, they try & further only their own agenda. Congress is doing the same in Karnataka,” stated Abhishek Banerjee, Author.Listen In!#karnataka #chiefminister #siddaramaiah #educationminister #madhubangarappa #nationaleducationpolicy #textbookrevisionrow #RSS #keshavbaliramhedgewar #bharatiyajantaparty #timesnowshow #blueprintexplosiveexclusive #meghnadeka
