Ghaziabad fire: Two women died after a massive fire broke out at a tent godown in Ghaziabad's Loni border area on Monday morning. Around eight people were reportedly trapped in the fire and were rescued from the building.

Rahul Kumar, Chief Fire Officer, Ghaziabad said the fire broke out due to a short circuit and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot. He confirmed two casualties in the fire incident.
"The injured were sent to a hospital where two women died during treatment. Prima facie, the fire broke out due to a short circuit. As soon as the information about the fire was received, three fire engines were sent to the spot. The work of making tents was done in the basement of the house," said Rahul Kumar, Chief Fire Officer, Ghaziabad, UP.
