Novak Djokovic prevailed once again in an astonishing match of tennis as he moved to the final of the French Open 2023 with in a tightly contested match in the first two sets but the Serb proved to be too strong in the final two. While Djokovic won the match 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1, Alcaraz walked away with a loud appreication at the Rolland Garros not just from the fans but also from his opponent with one of the most stunning shots on the tennis court in recent times.
After losing the first set, Alcaraz was on the money in the second from the outset. After it was 1-1 in the first two games of the second set, Alcaraz was leading 15-0 and on the 30-pointer, Djokovic had the Spaniard in a tangle as he came near the net to play a soft serve. Then Djokovic played a long shot to make Alcaraz run to the other end of the court and he came up with a sensational move.
Alcaraz ran back fast, made a fine slide, turned back in no time to play it front-handed far from Djokovic and the Serb had no chance of even try and reach the ball. The crowd was up in the stands as did Djokovic, who first poassed a sheepish smile and applauded before being in disbelief for a few seconds thinking what just happened. Alcaraz too knew that it was a special shot as he had his left hand in the air before soaking in all the applause.

Alcaraz came back strongly too win the second set 7-5, however, it was vintage Djoker in the final two sets and he didn't let Spaniard even be in the game. Djokovic won 6-1, 6-1 in the final two sets and will now wait for the winner of the second semi-final between Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev to meet in the final.
