Ahmedabad witnessed torrential rains on Sunday evening and the showers are likely to hit the city on Monday as well.

Rain in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The torrential rain started at around 5:30 pm and continued for a few hours, forcing authorities to postpone the IPL final match to Monday.
The city is likely to witness "rain or thunderstorms or dust storms, and the sky situation will generally remain cloudy," the officials said in their latest local forecast.
The maximum temperature in the city is likely to reach 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to settle around 25 degrees Celsius.
However, the officials predicted a clear sky without any possibility of rain for Monday.
In the past 24 hours, the city received 55 mm of rain. The maximum temperature settled at 39.9 degrees, two notches below the normal count. The minimum temperature was 21 degrees, which was 7 points below normal.
The IPL final match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings is scheduled to take place at 7:30 pm on Monday.
From Tuesday onwards, the weather condition will be clear, IMD officials predicted.
