Canada: Indian Students Deportation Notice Reason, Status, Protests and Stay Order Explained

In Canada, the future of hundreds of Indian students is at stake as they are being deported due to the alleged submission of "fraudulent admission letters". Students Deportation From Canada Reason

Indian students who received deportation notices moved to Canada between 2017-19. The admission documents submitted by the students were found to be fake when students applied for permanent resident status in Canada. The students completed their studies and also applied for a work permit.
As the CBSA conducted an investigation, at least 700 students' visas were found to be based on fake documents. The students were sent deportation letters by the Canadian Border Service Agency who informed them that their college admission letters were fake, thus making them illegal immigrants to the country. As per the reports, the deportation was to take place in June.

Canada Indian Students' Deportation: Action taken so far

Most of the students who are facing deportation had obtained a study visa through forged offer letters applied through Jaladhar-based Education Migration Services administered by Brijesh Mishra.
Agent Mishra had charged Rs 16-19 lakh from each student, which would be used for all expenses including the admission fee and the processing of their documents. However, this excluded flight tickets and security deposits.
The students who are facing deportation are advised to stay in regular touch with the concerned authorities both in India and Canada. The governments of both countries are trying to take out fair measures for the students.
